Accessibility statement for equicare.health

This statement applies to the website at www.equicare.health, run by JGME Consulting UK Ltd. It does not cover the EquiCare product itself. Councils can ask us for product accessibility information.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. Our aim is that you can change colours, contrast and fonts using browser or device settings, zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen, move around the whole site using a keyboard, and use it with a screen reader.

How accessible this website is

This website has not yet had a full accessibility test. JGME Consulting UK Ltd will test it by 23 October 2026 and update this statement with the results.

Until then, we do not know which problems remain. The areas we will check first are the website forms (labels, error messages and keyboard use), any text on images or coloured backgrounds, and heading structure. Each problem we find will be listed here in plain English with a date for fixing it.

The Request a demo form is provided by Tally, a third-party form service, and is shown inside our page. It is included in our planned testing. If you have any difficulty using it, email or phone us instead and we will arrange your demo.

The procurement documents on our G-Cloud page are hosted on the GOV.UK Digital Marketplace. If you need them in another format, contact us.

Checks we have run so far

In October 2026 we ran the following checks ourselves. They are not a full independent test.

  • Automated checks with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules, on every page, at desktop width and at 320px width. No failures were found.
  • Reflow at 320px width. No page needed scrolling sideways.
  • Checks of the page code. Each page has one main heading, headings are in order, every form field has a label, images have text alternatives or are marked as decorative, and the skip link goes to the main content.
  • Colour contrast of the main text, link, button and label colours, calculated from the colour values. All meet the WCAG AA minimum of 4.5:1.

Automated and code checks find only some accessibility problems. Keyboard use, screen reader behaviour and zoom to 400% still need testing by a person.

Technical information about this website's accessibility

JGME Consulting UK Ltd is committed to making this website accessible. This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 AA standard. It has not yet been fully assessed against WCAG 2.2 AA, so we cannot yet confirm full compliance. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA in full.

How we will test this website

Our planned testing covers:

  • automated checks with axe DevTools and WAVE
  • manual keyboard-only navigation
  • screen reader testing with NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (iPhone and Mac)
  • zoom to 200% and 400%, and reflow at 320px width
  • colour contrast checks
  • testing of the website forms
