How councils typically buy

1. Review the listing. Read the service definition, pricing and terms on the Digital Marketplace. You don't need to speak to us first.
2. Define your requirement. Before call-off we offer shortlisted councils a free half-day discovery workshop, held in person in Yorkshire and the surrounding area or on Microsoft Teams elsewhere. We ask the council's adult social care lead, principal social worker, IG lead and IT lead to attend. The workshop covers current intake and triage processes, a live EquiCare demonstration, data protection and integration requirements, and a draft go-live plan for the council.
3. Run your call-off. Your procurement team chooses the right award route under the G-Cloud 15 framework rules and your council's standing orders.
4. Contract and onboard. Sign the call-off contract, complete your DPIA, then configure, train and go live. We expect 12 to 16 weeks from signed call-off to go-live for a first deployment, and 8 to 12 weeks for later councils. The timeline depends mainly on the council's own DPIA and IG sign-off, Entra ID single sign-on set-up and telephony configuration.

Other ways to buy

Councils can also buy EquiCare by running a further competition through the Government Commercial Agency's Artificial Intelligence DPS (RM6200) or Spark DPS (RM6094), on both of which JGME is an appointed supplier. Paid pilots can also be bought directly under a council's own contract rules. We are offering free pilots to the first five councils.
